Here you will find updates, news and general ramblings on what is happening at Boot Hill Miniatures.

14/08/10 Photos are now up in the Greens Gallery. These include four new packs: Cazadores, Cazadores Command, Artillerymen, Infantry Command. I expect to have the first castings available towards the end of august.
Matthew is now starting work on Mexican regular cavalry inc command both mounted and dismounted plus a pack of skirmishing soldados.
The final Mexican release will then follow with sentries, Alamo assault pack with ladders and pioneers, perhaps casualties and a Santa Anna vignette.
We will start the Texian forces in the new year and return to Alta California with some more figures for Zorro games.

12/08/10 I have just collected the greens for the new releases and will post photos on the Greens page at the weekend. I am really pleased with Matthews efforts on these. They are probably my most favourite of the Mexicans so far.

30/06/10 We have added a pdf download to the webstore. It is a three page document that contains two A4 pages with a total of twenty four different flag designs for use with our miniatures for 1830's Mexico and various Texian  flags used during the 1836 Texas war of Independance. The third page shows a "how to" in text and photographs. More images in the Greens Gallery. Sv

26/05/10 The first  Mexican infantry castings are now in stock and listed in the webshop, including  special regiment deals for twenty figures.

Matt tells me he is well underway with the next release. These will include two packs of Cazadores inc command, an artillery crew and some more dismounted officers.

05/05/10  Some new photos up in the San Antonio De Bejar gallery of several of the latest buildings and terrain pieces I have made. The town is slowly getting bigger...

26/04/10  It a pleasure to meet with those of you who travelled from Europe to Salute and collected their pre orders. Its always nice to meet people face to face and chat, rather than communicate via email!

The good news is I received the modified greens from Matthew ( to include fixed bayonets) These will go off to Griffin Moulds this week and should be cast up and in the webshop in about two to three weeks.

Nick

14/04/10  I will not be trading at Salute this year. However I will be at the show all day helping a friend out with his display game. If anybody wishes to buy and collect any of the figures at the show then drop me an email and we can sort it out.

The Mexican soldados will not be ready in time as they are still being tweeked....not long though til they are in the shop.

Nick

4/04/10  The Mexican infantry greens are now up in the Greens Gallery. These are going to be tweeked by adding bayonets so it will still be a few weeks before they appear in the store.

16/03/10 Ok, so as you may have gathered by the absence of pictures that I am still awaiting delivery of the Mexican infantry Greens. Matthew is still putting the finishing touches to them, so sadly they will be a little while longer. I'll keep you posted as soon as I know more.

23/02/10  Just a quick update to let you know I am due to collect the greens for the first of the Mexican infantry packs on saturday 6th march (How ironic/appropriate is that date?!)

These will comprise four different soldados in march attack, four different soldados in charging poses, four different command figures in march attack and four different command figures in charging poses. Assuming all goes well and I collect them on that date then they should be in the webshop by the middle of march. I will post photos of the greens as soon as I have them.

Viva Santa Anna, Viva Mehico !!

05/02/10  The four new Texian packs are in the online store and available now. Photos will be posted of each pack in the next couple of days.

12/01/10. Great News...!  I have the greens for the next eight characters. Each of these has a mounted version. As previously mentioned they include; Bowie, Travis, Bonham and assorted Texians. They have been photographed and are in the gallery this weekend. Then they will go straight to the casters, so should be available in the online shop for the end of January/early february.

Matthew is going to start work in the next week or so on the first of the Mexican army. Four packs of soldados in march attack and charging poses including command figures. I anticipate they will be available end of Feb/early march.

10/12/09. New pictures of a Peasant Jacale added to the San Antonio gallery page.

08/12/09. Unfortunately I have been unable to collect the greens this week as originally suggested. I should be able to collect them towards the end of next week. Its therefore unlikely I will be able to offer them for sale this side of Christmas. I will upload photos of them as soon as I have them in my hands just to wet your appetites:)

Nick

24/11/09. The latest greens are nearing completion for the next 8 characters. These include James Bowie, William Barrett Travis and other assorted Texians including a US army sergeant deserter, several backwoodsmen and other adventurers. All will feature mounted versions. I anticipate collecting the greens next week and they should be available in the online shop mid december.

Next up for the new year will be the Mexican army. I intend to start with four packs of infantry comprising basic soldados with command figures including officers, sargentos, drummers and standard bearers. Followed by Cazadores- light infantry armed with Baker rifles together with Mexican regular cavalry both foot and mounted. That lot should keep us busy until the spring/early summer!
